Luke Weaver passed for 316 yards and three touchdowns as San Jose State rallied to beat Eastern Michigan 27-21. Cooper Hoch caught two scoring passes, and the defense limited the Eagles to 25 fourth-quarter yards to protect the late lead.

San Jose State lost 42-26 at USC after a second-half response led by Luke Weaver. The quarterback threw two touchdowns and ran for another, helping the Spartans generate late scoring drives after falling behind by four touchdowns at halftime.
